Struggling to Fit In?

I think every one of us had a moment in our lives when we couldn’t find our place in this world. Sometimes it just feels that you are at the wrong table with the wrong company. You graduated the school you are supposed to, you got the job everybody think is cool, you live in the neighborhood where all the “good people” are living, doing all the things people say it’s right, but it still feels that you can’t fit in. You are just not in the sweet spot and don’t feel secure at all.  Have you ever felt that way?

It took me years to realize that I don’t have to change. I don’t have to adjust to other peoples levels. Trying to fit in it will make me become someone that I don’t want to be. Maybe it will make me become someone that other people wants to see in me, but definitely not what I want to become. I want a free life and I don’t want to loose thru self so I’ll should really stop thinking about how others want me to be. I know it’s way much easier to try to please the people around you, tell them what they want hear, make them feel the way they want to feel or let them see in you what they want to see. It takes real guts to tell people want you really think and you need courage to sometimes say No, when you really feel so.

But You are You! You are beautiful the way you are, you are worthy, precious and you are the real deal into your own life! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!

You should start to live fully your own life. Take your life in your hands, build a world that you are confident in, get the right way of thinking and decide what are the cool things in your own life from your point of view, not anybody else’s. Be YOU and you’ll start to feel fitting into your own life…and oh God, it feels so good, believe me!

You and only You are in charge of your own destiny, you can build everything you want, you can dream and then fight to achieve your dreams, you can make the surrounding that fits perfectly for your needs, you are free to fit in into Your perfect world.

  1. Love this! I think I’ve always felt like I didn’t fit in and spent so much of my life trying to be like other people. Definitely learning now that I don’t have to change and I can enjoy being me.
Really love your blog by the way!!!
